These red-and-green holiday cards, which feature Hans Hofmann’s Autumn Gold (1957) from the National Gallery of Art collection, will add an artful flair to your correspondence this year. This painting is an important example of Hofmann’s most familiar works, which are distinguished by heavy rectangular slabs of intense colors. The painterly edges seen in Autumn Gold become more sharply defined in his later works.

The greeting inside the cards reads, “Seasons Greetings and warm wishes for the New Year.”
