Giglio Florentine Note Card Set, Medium
San Lorenzo "Giglio" stationery combines the best of all things Florentine. The inimitable shape of the fleur-de-lis ("il giglio" in Italian) has been the heraldic symbol of the city of Florence for more than a thousand years and is derived from the Tuscan iris. The floral theme is further reflected in the name of Florence itself, which at the height of the Renaissance was known as Florentia ("flowering"). The intricately swirling pattern of brightly colored leaves and flowers is an age-old traditional pattern known as "Florentine," and our version is enriched with fine gold accents, creating a paper worthy of the history of art and beauty it represents.
