About the Work
Alexander Calder's 76-foot-long mobile,Untitled (1976) was one of his largest works, and also one of his last, completed only a few weeks before he died. One of the extraordinary things about this mobile is that while it weighs nearly 1,000 pounds, it moves ever so lightly, powered only by currents of air.
A colorful rendering of the Calder Mobile in the East Building of the National Gallery of Art , is displayed with a durable Lexan surface and mounted on black flexible rubber for your computer mouse to move with ease and comfort.
