About the Artist
Wassily Kandinsky (1866–1944) was an influential Russian painter and a master of modern art. He is credited as being a pioneer of abstract art in the early 20th century.
Inspired by Wassily Kandinsky's Black Lines (1913), this scarf is splashed with bold colors and a network of black lines. Black Lines is among the first of Kandinsky’s truly nonobjective paintings.
