About the Style
The lovely Impressionists by the Water note card set reproduces details that are the result of four different painters working on the shore: a woman in white gazing over the ocean in Childe Hassam's The South Ledges, Appledore (1913); bathers frolicking on the beach in The Captain's Pier by William Glackens; the red boats in Monet's Argenteuil (1875); and figures on the beach with red-roofed houses and hills in the background in a Renoir painting. The sturdy decorative box holds cards and envelopes neatly, and when the cards have been sent, it's great for storing all sorts of little things—from extra buttons to seashells.
