Made from lightweight sheer silk, this scarf has a colorful block print pattern with a delicate rolled hem. The design was created by Rachel Whiteread in celebration of her 2018–2019 exhibition organized by the National Gallery of Art, Washington, and Tate Britain. As the first comprehensive survey of Whiteread's work, this exhibition brings together some 100 objects from the course of her 30-year career, including drawings, photographs, architecture-scaled sculptures, archival materials, documentary materials on public projects, and several new works on view for the first time.
