This 11 x 14-inch reproduction of Henri Matisse's Icarus, a plate from the volume Jazz (published 1947), accompanies the exhibition In Celebration of Paul Mellon. Derived from maquettes of cut and pasted colored papers, this bold and playful image of the mythological Icarus was printed using a stencil technique.
